As a voting member of the PTSA Executive Committee, you are a part of the decision-making process. Each voting role requires attendance (in-person or virtual) at monthly meetings, collaboration with the entire executive board, and availability for special events. Elected positions are a 2-year commitment.

CO-PRESIDENTS (2)
As Co-Presidents, you are the strategic leaders and community connectors— setting the tone, strengthening relationships, and making key decisions that support our entire school community.

  • Lead PTSA Executive Board and general meetings — keep things focused and forward-moving.
  • Cast one collective vote on budget, grants and bylaws.
  • Serve as the bridge between parents, faculty, school leaders and district administration.
  • Represent the PTSA at school events like back-to-school nights, Jenkins Award, Ardsley Cares Day and Staff Appreciation.
  • Attend Board of Education meetings to stay informed and aligned.
  • Oversee the big picture: manage the annual PTSA calendar and keep all gears turning.

 

VICE PRESIDENT, FUNDRAISING & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
This dynamic role blends creativity, organization and people skills. You'll lead the charge on key fundraisers and community-building events — the lifeblood of our PTSA's support for schools.

  • Be the board’s go-to for fundraising committees like School Supplies, Cookie Dough & Holiday Bows, Yearbook, School Photos, and more.
  • Support, guide and empower committee co-chairs to succeed.
  • Oversee budgets and reporting for each event.
  • Find new ways to bring in volunteers and engagement

SPIRIT WEAR LEAD
This is a new, non-voting position that focuses exclusively on overseeing Spirit Wear.

  • Oversee the Spirit Wear committee and communicate with the Fundraising VP.
  • Coordinate and finalize contracts with vendors.
  • Finalize approval for fall and spring line designs.
  • Upload inventory to the Ardsley Spirit Wear store.
  • Oversee in-person Spirit Wear sales at back-to-school nights, parent-teacher conferences and other events.
  • Manage and report on sales and profits.

VICE PRESIDENT, CONCORD ROAD
You're the key connector between the PTSA and Concord Road School. You’ll work closely with faculty, families and fellow board members to make sure every CRS program and initiative runs smoothly.

  • Lead a team supporting all Concord Road events and activities.
  • Appoint and guide class parents to keep classrooms in the loop on all things PTSA related.
  • Collaborate with CRS administration on grant requests, budgets and events.
  • Attend orientation nights, welcome new families, and serve as the PTSA voice at school events.
  • Support legacy activities like the book fair, school photos and staff luncheon.

CONCORD ROAD EX-OFFICIO
This non-voting role is ideal for a seasoned CRS parent who wants to offer guidance without carrying the day-to-day.

  • Provide insight and support to the CRS board liaison.
  • Offer historical context and continuity to ensure strong planning and decision-making.

CONCORD ROAD SUPPORT
This non-voting role helps bring CRS events to life by keeping communication and logistics flowing between the board liaison, ex-officio and volunteers.

  • Assist in planning and executing CRS events and initiatives.
  • Offer hands-on help and support wherever needed.

VP, ARDSLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL
As the middle school liaison, you're the PTSA’s eyes, ears and advocate at Ardsley Middle School. You’ll help keep AMS parents in the know and programs running smoothly.

  • Attend back-to-school nights and represent the PTSA at AMS events.
  • Meet regularly with AMS administrators.
  • Oversee grant requests from AMS staff and help manage the PTSA budget for the school.
  • Support AMS happenings such as 8th grade sweatshirts, Pop-Up Shop, 5th Grade Donuts, Wellness Week, and Staff Appreciation Lunch.
  • Share updates and school news at PTSA meetings.

VICE PRESIDENT, ARDSLEY HIGH SCHOOL
This is your chance to support students in their final years at Ardsley. As the AHS liaison, you’ll help shape memorable experiences and keep communication flowing between the PTSA, staff, and student leaders.

  • Speak at high school events on behalf of the PTSA — be the welcoming face for new and returning families.
  • Work closely with school leadership on PTSA initiatives, grant requests and budget use.
  • Oversee the student PTSA liaison and collaborate with student clubs.
  • Help bring key events to life — from Senior Breakfast and Awards to Staff Appreciation and Wellness Week.
  • Keep the board informed about AHS needs, ideas and happenings.

VICE PRESIDENT, COMMUNICATIONS
You’re the storyteller and signal booster. This vital role keeps families informed, inspired, and engaged — across email, web and social media.

  • Manage and update ArdsleyPTSA.org with fresh content and key info.
  • Craft weekly emails and ad hoc blasts to keep everyone in the loop.
  • Run PTSA social media — share stories, celebrate success and invite participation.
  • Liaise with the district’s communications office to promote the PTSA’s successes.
  • Share our news with local media outlets to shine a spotlight on our community’s efforts.
