Ardsley Cares Day 2025

Thank you for making Ardsley Cares Day a success! The event surpassed our expectations in every way:

  • Volunteers assembled more than 1,200 bags of food, toiletries, and activity kits as well as sporting goods that will directly benefit organizations across our community, including the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, The Sharing Shelf, Lifting Up Westchester, Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry, and Play It Forward. All these supplies were donated by the community and collected at different schools.
  • Ardsley Community Enrichment (ACE PTO) made a tremendous contribution by packing over 400 snack bags for Midnight Run.
  • Our environmental team along with a local scout troop made a significant impact by clearing invasive vines and cleaning Macy Park with more than 400 pounds of trash collected, helping to preserve one of our community's valuable natural spaces.
  • A dedicated team of young kids and local girl scout troops who came together to bake dog biscuits. Over 2 hours, they baked and packed 500 dog biscuits to donate to the Yonkers Animal Shelter.
  • Most impressively, we had more than 300 volunteers participate, including a large turnout from local scout troops and students. The enthusiastic involvement of our young community members was particularly heartening to see.
  • Community organizations such as ASVAC and Stormwater Management hosted informative outreach tables, while the fire department generously provided a delicious breakfast and brought a fire truck for everyone to enjoy.

It was truly a day that filled us with a sense of pride. We are deeply honored to be part of such a caring, dedicated, and collaborative community where so many individuals and organizations come together for the greater good.
