Advocacy
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee
- Organize and advocate for inclusion and equity in the Ardsley community and beyond.
Community Service
Lost and Found CRS & AMS
- Clean up and organize lost and found (bimonthly or quarterly).
- Collect photos and send to our PTSA VP of Communications to share with families.
- Bag up and donate unclaimed Lost and Found items (bimonthly or quarterly).
- Dedicated chairs for CRS and AMS.
Enrichment
Concord Road Yearbook
- Event date:
- Assist in the development of the school yearbook.
8th Grade Sweatshirt
- Event date: May - October
- Create a custom sweatshirt design exclusively for the graduating 8th grade class.
- Develop design with vendor, create the online store and coordinate the distribution of shirts.
School Photos
- Event date: October
- Dedicated chairs for CRS and AMS
- Help our schools organize the kids for their moment in front of the camera.
Events

- This community day of service includes various ways to give in Ardsley and throughout Westchester. Previous year's activities included collection of books, food, clothing, making dog toys and biscuits for local animal shelters and the assembly of hygiene kits for those experiencing homelessness.
- Event dates: October 26, 2023 and November 2, 2023
- Plan and organize fun and spirited, multi-day exhibition game between our team of talented Concord Road teachers and the famous Harlem Wizards.
- Funds raised go to support PTSA programming across all schools.
- Event date: February 15, 2024
- Plan and organize a day-long event at Concord Road School celebrating nationalities and cultures from around the world.

- Identify and secure children's author or illustrator appearance
Fundraisers
- Event date: September to June
- Dream up new ranges of stylish and spirited collections of Spirit Wear each fall and spring.
- Work with the vendors to get the best quality, best designs and best costs and run sales events.
- Event date: Two sale days quarterly (September through June)
- A favorite for all 5th and 6th graders! A school shop of colorful pens, erasers, locker decor, fidget toys and more.
- Manage the assortment, ordering and selling.

- Kid-created masterpieces are memorialized on oven mitts, mouse pads, mugs, trivets and more!
- Coordinate the collection of art and distribution of order forms.
- Event date: May/June
- Supplies delivered to CRS classrooms and AMS 5th grade tours in August/September.
- Custom kits of all the supplies needed for K-5th grade. Easy and timesaving!
- Provide the supplier with the new lists, promote the sale and coordinate distribution to 5th graders.
- Event date: CRS Fall & AMS Spring
- Dedicated chairs for CRS and AMS
- Coordinate details of the sale with vendor and staff the sales

- Collect, organize and merchandise gently used donate books.
- Manage sale days and donation of unsold books.
